My own notes about how to use this water timer (it isn’t easy!):
Melnor Water Timer HydroLogic 73280. Has 4 zones, don’t use the “Cycles”
To set up:
1. Reset All by holding OK for 10 seconds. Check that ‘AM’ shows after this. Set the current time.
2. Press “Curser button” (topmost) go to Water Day. Select the days that you want Zone (outlet) 1 to run. EG. Tue. And Sat.
3. Press Curser button to set the Start Time (which will be on both days of you choose two)
4. Press curser button to set the length of watering time (eg. 59 min.) Just use Cycle A. simple
5. Press curser button to turn on Auto mode. That’s it for Zone 1. Repeat for Zone 2 etc.
NOTES: to stop for long time, press curser to OFF and click OK.
To run manually, press Manual, and then the Zone that you want, and the minutes to run. Use 59 so there is no chance of overlap.
